Here, near Reading, PA, we have a bird-watching program on the radio.
People have called in saying they have seen hundreds of robins in
groups. The sightings are not at one particular place, but all around
the county.
The program moderator seems to think that this is due to the warm
weather we have been having and the avalibility of cover and food. Many
gardeners plant berry bushes of all kinds ant the robins are
congregating at those plants.
The sightings this time of the year are unusual, seeing how many have
been spotted. We have not been touched by snow so far, and the winds
and rain have been moderate. Our hearts and prayers go out to the
people in areas devestated by the weather.
