Here in Oregon, my crocus (crocii??) and mini-daffs are just peeking up--
maybe 1/2". Daffodils are already 3-4", irises and galanthus coming along.
Does anyone know anything about a "Siberican Lily"? I assume "Siberican" is
scientific-talk for Siberian. Anyway, I bought three at a nursery this
weekend for about $4.00 (total). Didn't know if that was wise or stupid,
but they caught my eye. Now I'm not sure where to put them! They are large
bulbs-- lemon-sized. Pink and firm, and seem very healthy. Apparently they
were the hot item featured on a local radio gardening show, so the nursery
laid in a big supply, and these are the left-overs.
