Although my favorite winter interest is to walk out and discover when my
bulbs are peeking out, I do have a number of plants that are lovely
throughout the winter:
Red twig dogwood
The berries on cotoneaster
Dwarf globe spruce
Lot of tall grasses with seed pods
Russian sage
Sedum Autumn Joy
A really lovely Euphorbia that have turned almost greenish purple in the cold.
There hasn't been much snow in Long Island covering things this year, but
the grasses always look great in the snow.
