At the end of January (I'm behind on reading perennials posts), Billie Lee
asked about Anemone blanda. I had had a similar experience of only half
coming up until I heard from someone about soaking the tubers overnight in
warm water before planting them. Now I have lots of blooms in partial shade
and leaf mold enriched soil.
