Nan, There is another nursery with beautiful display gardens near Greer
Gardens outside of Eugene, Oregon. Gossler Farms in Springfield. They grow
trees, shrubs and perennials. They specialize in Magnolias, but everything
they grow is wonderful. Also have a large collection of Phormiums. If you
are interested, email me and I will send you address, phone and or
directions. If you are driving up the coast, there is a lovely garden in
Lincoln City called the Connie Hansen Garden that certainly would be worth
your time. Connie passed on a few years ago, but her garden is lovingly
tended by garden society volunteers. There is also a book of pacific
northwest gardens both public and private that has a great listing with all
the pertinent information.
