RE: Foxgloves


I live in the Pacific Northwest and here, once you have foxglove, you have
them forever.  While technically they are a biennial, in our climate I get
seedlings that same summer after their early summer bloom.  They often will
bloom the next year, making them more a reseeding annual for me (although
the seedlings do get nearly a full year of growth between seeding and
blooming).  They don't seem to care if its cold, shady soil, or dry soil,
they seed everywhere.  But I love 'em so that's okay by me.  I just pull up
to edit where I will and often pass these along to neighbors, etc.

who look upon them to do likewise.
