Oops! I'd better clarify my earlier post on "partial sun": the sunlight
wouldn't hit my garden until about 11:00 or so and it stays until 5:00 when
it goes behind my house. It has to clear a row of trees first. I think of
it as partial sun because some of my plants that require full sun will lean
over towards the areas where the sun is brightest and I have to stake some
plants that I ordinarily wouldn't have to. Their stems are too weak. I
was guessing it was from all of the stretching they are doing. These same
plants in another area of my yard that gets more sun do not need staking.
