Hi, Forget Me Nots are also biennial. The plants that will bloom this
spring sprouted (from self seeding) last summer. So if you want blooms this
spring with your tulips, you will have to buy some plants.

I forget the name of those blue annuals that one interplants with tulips so
that they'll bloom at the same time. Can anyone remember? If so, when is
the best time to start them indoors to have bloom late April/early May in
zone 6a, Kentucky? I'd rather have wallflowers, but since they're
biennials, it's a tad late to do these.
Any other suggestions as to a filler bloom to plant with tulips? I also
like to do windflowers (another bulb), but I slept too late on the mail
order and missed out this year.
Thanks a million!
