RE: Starting seeds outdoors


I always direct seed my sweet peas in the middle of Feb. here -- President's
Day weekend per an old neighbor lady.  Never had any success until I did it
this way.

In March I throw out annual poppy seeds, don't cover or anything.

I also direct sow cosmos and zinnia varieties, batchelor buttons, alyssum.
