Who owns a mailing list?
Chris who owns the Internet Service Provider (ISP) called Mallorn.com. Mallorn.com now hosts many of the mailing list which I started a while back. Now, all I do is help manage my mailing list, but who really owns them is matter of a opinion. My opinion, is the ISP really owns the mailing list, because they can press the delete key at anytime. I just have the passwords to make things flow easily.... you know, that managing type of work.
Way back when after I started Seeds-list (now called propagation), I wanted to start another mailing list called perennials, but with current troubles with another mailing list, I asked Chris to start it up. It took a while to get thing rolling, but after a few phone calls and emails, Chris launched Perennials@mallorn.com. Somewhere in my hordes of emails, I have a password for this list, but I have never used it and I have no strong desire to find it.
So where does that leave us? Here is the list Chris and I support. Most of them are hosted by mallorn.com.
Perennials - Chris (mallorn.com)
Propagation - Duncan (mallorn.com)
Pumpkins - Duncan (mallorn.com)
Rose-list - Duncan (mallorn.com)
veggies-list - Duncan (eskimo.com)
