Re: Japanese Hepaticas and Helleborus foetidus

I've read in the RHS journal that these Japanese hepaticas can cost in the
thousands of dollars for a single plant. But the photos I've seen are
mouth-watering.

Re H. foetidus: I have several plants of this that I use as a foundation
planting. they are under the bedroom window on the south side of the house.
Relatively dry. They give great winter interest and their flowers last for
months. And they self-seed in just the right amount of abundance. They sure
beat yews.
