Some taxonomists have accepted the practice of placing the cultivar name
in brackets instead of single quotes when referring to non-vegetatively
propagated plants.  For example, seedlings from a grouping of Coreopsis
alpina 'Alba' would actually be labeled as Coreopsis alpina [Alba].
