I don't have them in containers, but I happily discovered that Geranium
macrorrhizum 'Bevan's Variety' is exactly the same shade of pink as
Rhododendron 'Karen's' and blooms at roughly the same time. I have
lots of Karen's planted under the firs and spruce out back, but the
bed in front has a largish grouping of these Geraniums. Having the
same colors in the "woods" and in front worked quite well!
This is really one of my most favorite genera. :)
