Hello old and wiser David King. I once thought I might buy one (punica
granatum) as I thought it would make a good winter blooming pot plant. You
do not say where you are located but if you are open to mail order here is a

There are single and double flowered plants plus several colors. If it is to
be a pot plant you would want the dwarf cultivar. Assuming here that you are
not in the tropics, another souce would be Stokes Tropicals which is
probably online as well.
