OT: Garden Design

Hi all-
Does anyone have any suggestions of websites useful in garden design,
especially any that provide good quality, specific plans? We're trying
to come up with landscape designs to create a more undulating edge to
our "back 40", which currently is about as straight of an edge as you
can get leading into our wooded area.
We want to incorporate mostly evergreens, shrubs and grasses. The area
is about 200' wide, gets sun all afternoon, the soil is probably just
fair, and the area is too far from the house to get watered regularly
(unless I win the lottery and the sprinkler system finally gets
installed...) Budget requires that we only work on the "bones" of this
border now but I need a long-term plan to keep me headed in the right
direction. All too often I find myself buying "one of this" and "one of
that" and I need something to keep me on track!
