Companion plant suggestions - for daylilies

HI Nancy and Bobbi,

Ok - it will depend on what look you want, but since I grow lots of
daylilies, I have several suggestions.
1. Anything blue (or as close to blue as you get) - I like nigella (love in
a mist - a reseeding annual), Russian sage, sea hollies, geraniums,
veronicas, species delphiniums; the list goes on and on.
2. Pink tones - geraniums, pink tickseeds (l love the new one from Alan
Bloom, but can not remember the name), coral bells, sedums with pink/maroon
leaves.
3. White feverfew for the flowers and the foliage
4. Go for contrasting forms - spikes like liatras
5. Have fun with it - let it please YOUR eye.

My favorite strategies are for foliage plants that also give me a some
interest in their flowers, hence the growing interest in sedums, geraniums
and coral bells.
