The species is considered a noxious weed here in Idaho (and apparently much of the world from what I've read).
Crownsville Nursery says that 'Crimson Beauty' is "clump forming" and does not run. www.crownsvillenursery.com/perenmr.htm
Bluemount Nursery says the same.

I had this on my wish list for this year and am just getting arond to
researching it. Unfortunatley, I can find no listing for it in any
catalogue I have. Did I get the plant name wrong somehow or perhaps
there is a bigger reason that no one is carrying it? Any
thoughts/comments appreciated.
