I hope someone may be able to help...I'm looking for the above type of plant
to situate next to a robust Rosa rugosa 'Alba' and in front of a dark grey
stockade fence. I've been unable to come up with something that has
attractive foliage and that blooms pretty much most of the
summer...hopefully, the plant would have great presence and have a strong
branching habit (no flopping). Size-wise, 5-6 feet tall and wide, with sun
for most of the afternoon until mid-August when it will be quite a bit
shadier. The soil's good and drains well. Zones 4b/5a. Is there such an
animal?
If anyone knows of a shrub that would fill the bill, I'd really appreciate
being emailed privately.
Thanks for any help anyone may be able to provide.
