I remember seeing one in a garden in Portland -- very fine foliage, lacy
nearly to my recollection.

I have two Hemlock Gentsch White here in IL (NW of Chicago) and plan to
get
a third this year.  I have had them since 1999 and they are prospering
and
have grown from 3 to 5 feet.  I haven't pruned them yet, but their white
tips are subtle but very attractive.

I think they are wonderful
