RE: If you could get rid of your grass...

Nan: If it were left up to my husband he'd kill all the grass, pave the
yard and paint it green. He hates mowing the yard. Haha... I love doing it
but ever since I developed back trouble, he will not let me ride the mower.
So we have a yardman that infuriates me to no end each time he comes to mow.
He throws the grass into my flowerbeds even after the many times I've
requested him not do it. Do you think it's about time for me to find
another yardman? Haha... As for myself, I love grass but I guess if I
could not have grass the next best thing would be to plant ALL FLOWERS.
Haha...

Following up the discusion about mowing by headlamp -- I wonder -- if
you could get rid of your grass, what would you replace it wtih? And
if you could use something else for a green carpet in place of grass,
what would you use?
