I'm outside Buffalo, NY and now that the snow has melted my hellebores have
bloom stalks up almost two inches already. I'm a little concerned though
because this is way earlier than they bloomed last year and we're supposed
to go below freezing for the next several days. I have to admit though, I'm
really looking forward to seeing the first flowers of the season. I'm not
sure what to expect from this spring, since even with all the snow we had
the ground never really froze.
