RE: Gardens Alive: on line sources?

I have ordered online- no problems- easy to do.  I also have been pleased
with what I ordered from them- some organic pest controls, fertilizer, WOW
plus for the lawn,and I love their house cleaning products (Earth Friendly
Products brand)as they don't have all that antibacterial junk in them (also
the vinegar-based window cleaner is the best stuff to wash windows with on
earth).  So- I am sure they overstate some stuff they sell- but by choosing
carefully I've had only positive experiences with my purchases.

Oh- except ladybugs- don't order them to be shipped- buy locally from a
garden center/nursery (you'd think I would have realized this- but I won't
make that mistake again).  Garden's Alive did refund my money when I called
to complain.

Doug, when you asked the question about ordering from Gardens Alive, you
specifically wanted experiences in ordering from them on line, didn't you?
It sounds like everyone has only ordered from their catalog. I've had great
service from them too, but don't think I've ever ordered online.

This is also the group that bought out all the Brecks/Michigan Bulb/Stark
Bros./Spring Hill, etc. lines. How are they faring these days, does anyone
know?  I hear from friends in Dayton (Ohio) that Spring Hill operated as a
walk-in nursery throughout 2002--don't know if they did mailorder too.
