I recently found a website called Garden Watchdog where there were several unfavorable comments about some mail order nuseries. There were many negative comments about GlassHouse Works in Ohio. Has anyone had any positive or negative experiences ordering from them

I've ordered from them a number of times(4-5), but only because there was something they had that was not readily available elsewhere. There quality was just OK (sometimes barely) and some of the plants were the wrong species (e.g. a Trichodiadema bulbosum that was a different species of Trichodiadema). Also, be aware that there might be a significant delay in shipping if all your order is not immediately available. In other words, order perhaps 2-3 months in advance unless they promise you otherwise. However, they have been helpful when contacted by phone and appear to be a basically honest operation.
