Re: Shade garden help/ Russian sage

Hello Donna,
My wife, JoAn, grows several sage, salvia and the Russian sage here. The
russian sage is several years old now and it talking over a bed 8 feet
square. She has to cut suckers out to keep it in bounds. All her plants are
in raised beds, full sun. She is also pretty good about fertilizing her
plants. I can not tell you if she does anything else, but do not remember
anything special being done. Lantanas get replaced each year along with the
pineapple sage she and the hummingbirds love so much late in the season.
