No such beast as a gardener that is TOO stubborn, but I've left a few rocks in place too. I gave up at 4 feet deep and still more to go!I've had good luck with Sears forks--They replaced at least one for free when it lost to the rock (might have been two). But it was a very big rock, and eventually, I decided the rock could stay and I would garden around it. That makes it sound like the forks were bad, but I'd be just as likely to say the gardener was / is a little too stubborn...
