Some of the seed strains produce black/dark leaves, then you can pick out
the
best and sell off the rest.
'Bishops Children' -- intense purple foliage and vibrant mix of colors.
Plants grow 3-4 feet tall
'Redskin' - Dark bronze foliage, shorter plants-18 inches or so.
Dahlias don't look to be that hard to breed, flowering the first year. Cross
your own plants this year and see what happens too.
