now winter relief

We have just received massive snow storm too-3 millimeters cover the ground 
after a day in the mid 50's, but now it is F 0 with a high to day that will 
be about F 10.

Claire you have a lot of snow, the weather is  a funny thing up in the 
north-its always changing and there is no such thing as "normal" just 
averages.  Asia is having record setting cold this year, as I hear it.

I hate the cold, I hate the cold, I hate the cold.  

My poor little fingers freeze in the wind when its this cold and putting gas 
in the car is no fun- I tell you I avoid any gas station that doesn't have a 
fast pump this time of the year.   Please no 30 below this year-if its going 
to be that cold I want my 12 inches of snow.

I come home and stick my self under my two 500 watt lights-the Salvia and 
Bears breaches will just have the share all that warmth with me.

I would like to say one thing.  I HATE THE COLD.

This year I only purchased 33 bales of straw to cover the potted plants 
because last year I had extra bales, If I had know we were not going to have 
any nice white, clean snow, I would have put those extra bales to use on the 
beds this year.  I hope all the Dianthus this year make it over the winter.
