RE: roses

Here are the David Austins:

Cressida - peachy-apricot - medium bush, new to me this year - has one
beautiful flower on it now
Gertrude Jekyll - large bush, large singles, bright rosy pink, smells like a
rose should smell
Glamis Castle - small white in clusters - small bush - nothing but problems
in my garden, I gave it away
Graham Thomas - huge, wants to be a climber - soft yellow gold, always the
most admired by visitors
Heritage - soft shell pink, very lovely but did poorly for me. I've seen it
in other gardens & admired it there
Mary Rose (my favorite) - medium bush, crayola pink in large clusters
Othello - another huge one, wants to be a climber - nice medium dark red, in
large clusters. The best bloomer, still has flowers on it
The Prince - very dark red, almost black - medium bush, new to me this year
Tradescant - very dark red, almost black - small bush, small single flowers,
nice in a container, but looks weak in the ground

Marilyn--
Aren't you going to give the names? Pretty please? Especially of the
Austin roses you have that are blackspot resistant. Am in the process of
replacing my hybrid teas, I like the flowers but no use having them if
they end up looking so sad every year.
