Say what? N. ucranica is usually in the Alpine catalogs if you have found
it. A Czech pass around. They have the best rock gardens for some reason
and the most intrepid collectors of seed. I have grown a bunch of these, all
hardy, but have not bumped into this one. Maybe an Alpine plant search.
Most of these sites and the gardeners and seed collectors never give zones.
They think you should obtain the seed, grow the plant and if it flowers you
have won one. If you lose it, that's life in the rock garden. It is hard to
get advice on Alpines for all parts of the US. A lot of them die for reasons
other than zone. If it sounded good to me, I would try it.
