Jean, I checked this out after viewing the program however I am a zone 4/5.  
Looked like a nice plant.
    BTW, I am so disappointed that 'Garden Dairy' only appears on Sat now and 
no 'Garden Journal'.  HGTV has taken the good gardening shows from their 
schedule.  I went to hgtv.com to find an email address to voice my 
disappointment but could find no address.
