RE: 'Fragrant Rose' Daffodil< bees in winter

I was out in my veggie garden wondering about this on the weekend, since my
peas are flowering. And, low and behold, I had some kind of little bees on
my sweet allysum (which lives forever here and blooms all winter). So- I'm
hopeful I will have lots peas pollinated!

I'll likely remember to give it a sniff, and try to remember
to report back.
Have those who have grown it noticed any difference in
fragrance strength as ambient temperature varies (more
on a sunny 'warm' day vs. cold) or morning vs. evening ?
This raises a point I've never figured out; who's
around to pollinate Hellebores in Feb. or March ? Where I
am there can't be a bee stirring within 300 miles...
