Sounds like a good idea, Marilyn. However, I think the location of my
'Bloodgood' is way too shady for a clematis. And I've planted the tangutica
already. Just received the Arrowhead Alpines catalog today and they have a
good listing of clematis texensis. I may have to give a few a try. They also
list some Asphodeline--I saw one at Gene Bush's last summer and I've got to
get one of those! I've also got Gene's new catalog, but haven't pried it away
from my partner yet to get a look at it.
