My favorite spring drifts of blue are muscari and Hyacinth 'Blue Jacket'. I
have a muscari planting near a water feature that is planted as if it were a
stream of water. Now, my husband shakes his head in disbelief but I know you
gardeners will understand this.
I have a new bed that I started last spring. I have used blue plants
including conifers, grasses, delps, hostas, etc. Last fall I planted lots of
'Blue Jacket' & 'Rip Van WInkle' in that area. 'Rip' was one of the daffs
that was suggested by Brent & Becky to bloom at the same time. I will be
anxious to see this in bloom. I like the shaggy look of 'Rip'.
