Hello Kate,
    With some fresh seed and a touch of patience one can grow gentiana from
seeds. Sow now, set the seed trays outside to ride with the local weather
and late this spring you should see somelittle green noses. Leave the
seedlings to grow on of a year in their pots, then transplant to larger pots
or the garden. Just pay attention to pH as well as exposure when placing a
plant in the garden for best success.
