GOOD MORNING FOLKS:
Heat wave here in Bucks County. Maybe some of that snow will slowly recede in
your areas.
I recall, perhaps a year ago, that I commented on my disappointment at a
lecture given by Penelope Hobhouse. Well, I have also heard Ken Druse and
believe his is a presentation worth attending. As a photographer, his slides
are outstanding and he is a "GARDENER". Speaks our language.
Santa something or other gave me his new book for Christmas titled: MAKING
MORE PLANTS The Science, Art, and Joy of Propagation. Like his other books
it is filled with great photos but a great help to the novice wanting to
learn more about propagation. And darn, reading a good book or looking at
great garden photos when there's a skillion feet of snow outside is "a good
thing"
