Growing Orchids under Lights

I have recently downsized from a house (after 22 years) with a perfect SE
facing greenhouse to a house with a north facing glassed in porch.  So I am
wondering what experience people have had with artificial light growing of
orchids and what recommendations you might have.  I am still in Zone 7 on the
Eastern Shore of Md.
