Nancy, thanks for the site. Makes me glad I ordered 3 of them. Kitty From: owner-perennials@hort.net [mailto:owner-perennials@hort.net] On Behalf Of Nancy Robinson Pacific Bulb group says hardy to Zone 5. Read what they say. I think we should always try a plant once. So I kill a plant...nothing new about that but look at what does live here in Tennessee. nancy ----------------------------------------- From: "Kitty Morrissy" <1*@rewrite.hort.net> Hi all, I was looking over the spring 2017 Odyssey Perennials catalogue and came across this item: St Bernard's Lily, Anthericum ramosum It looks very much like something I saw on some backroads in Ireland this past summer. I had never heard of the genus before and when I checked the picture, it took me back to one of the more enjoyable parts of my trip. It’s probably not the same plant, but I just had to order it. My old Hortus Third says it’s native to western & southern Europe – not a big hop to Ireland, eh? So – does anyone on this list grow it or know it? Anything to tell me about it? Kitty |
