MI Bulb is still owned by Gardens Alive! Who bought it and 4 other mailorder plant companies from Walter Drake years ago.  I doubt their quality has improved over the years but they do get some things right.  They still have their No-risk guarantee. They used to send replacement plants but now it appears to be a merchandise credit (which means you’re out whatever you spent on shipping.)

I do see the plant also available on etsy. And you might try some herb specialty companies.

I am almost embarrassed to even ask this question, but does Michigan Bulb still have the same bad reputation as it used to? I recall when, years ago, they actually got a good review from Consumer Reports, based on the receipt of a single live clematis.  The only reason I ask is they they offer a plant in which I am interested, Gymnostemma pentaphyllum. However, from this particular source, the plants are most likely cutting grown and there are reasons I might wish to grow from seed, not the least of which is that the plant is dioecious. Just thought I’d ask.
