Here is some discussion of the black dicentra from a couple of years ago where they all say “scam”

I’ve also noticed that if you google images of it, there is only one image available. Same one on every site.

I tried playing around with the color display settings on my Mac, but they still look very blue.  Here the photo of the “black” Dicentra.  Too bad they don’t show a photo of an entire plant in bloom.

I’d take it as an experiment if the price were reasonable, with no great expectations. I don’t know how long it takes for dahlias to go seed to flower, but it’s going to be a few years to see the results on the peony.

The pics, as I see them on my screen, the dahlia looks close to a true blue; the peony is lavender, as I would expect. If there’s a black bleeding heart, it is likely deeeeeeep maroon.

This internet site is selling seeds of these “blue” flowers. I realize that blue can be a difficult color to capture accurately, but a true blue dahlia and peony?  They also advertise a “black” bleeding heart.
