RE: Kniphofia


Hi Colette,

Don't ask me what species is, but we grow here in coastal Northern Spain
some big orange/yellow kniphofias that are in peak flower right now. They
always flower in mid winter, together with Australian stuff like
Callistemon, Leptospermum and Grevilleas... Probably they are the same
kniphofias as the ones you saw in Madeira?. I am sure you can grow them as
well... We DO have -slight- frosts
