Re: Moved to a new area recently
I also moved to a new home. I did get to bring my indoor plants and the
plants I lifted from the garden, i.e. banana trees, gladiolus, some
irises, a daylily root, some chives and a delphinium plant. Everything
got into the ground except the daylily root and the irises. By the time
we moved in the grass had started. We added more grass seed pretty soon
afterward, but it always surprises me how much the fill type of dirt is
soggy. We have had some rain and were going to put down a winterizer
this past weekend and sank about four inches.
However, I have a blank canvas. I am in Zone 5, so you have different
planting opportunities than I do. How about some full sun flowering
bushes?
