Be careful taking things out of other people’s trash, especially stores.
Technically it’s still their property and you are stealing it. Some stores
have security cameras there. As with the chain store ALWAYS ask for something,
even in the trash, they’ll probably give it to you and that way you are safe
from our crazy legal system (I don’t even want to go there). On the other
hand, where I work, they won’t give anything away because they fear they might
be held responsible by the person if they get hurt.
