Okee dokee....here's the recipe.
Mix 4 eggs up with a cup of whole milk. (I read that the milk will turn
sour and the deer can smell it) Pour it thru a strainer into a jar.
Add 10 drops of dish soap. Add 20 drops of essential oil of clove.
This can be purchased in health food stores. It costs $4 for 1/4 ounce
for clove and cinnamon oil, 2.49 for 1/2 ounce of lemon oil. (I don't
use lemon oil. I'm just showing you that most essential oils are very
reasonable.)
Add 6 Tablespoons of horticultural dormant oil. Put this into a 2.5
gallon tank sprayer and top it off with water.
I think that the real factor here is the oil. Everything else is just
for stickum and spreadum. I was fairly careful not to get this stuff on
myself as I sprayed, but I could still taste cloves after 2 days. You
know the effect of cloves; how you kind of turn numb?
They say that deer will get used to everything after awhile, so that is
why I suggest changing the oil every now and then.
Wild boar? All I'd suggest for useful info on that one is....you ever
notice how pigs won't foul their living area? Perhaps if you were to
make Pig Tea? Ugh. Glad it's your problem and not mine.
