Last spring I purchased an ounce of corn poppy seeds - about 4000 they
said. The seed was very fine and wanting to stretch it over a bed 90 x 6
feet, I mixed it with about a gallon of sand, waited for a good rain and
started throwing it on.
Had lots of poppies in bloom.
