Re: Oriental Poppies. Waste of Space? -Reply


I haven't actually seen one, but have seen pictures.  In an American
magazine it appeared to be a dark but attractive reddish purple.  In a
British magazine (BBC Gardeners World which I buy regularly) it looked a
very unattractive muddy colour, sort of like the rinse water goes in
primary school when you are painting with watercolours.  Which is it in
real life?
