Thank you Wyn and Sheila, The suggestion of finding a local garden for
prunings sounds ideal. I shall try that.
Sheila thank you so much for the offer of sending your cuttings for
postage. The reason I hesitate is that California has such strict rules for
plants from out of state, of any kind, that they would probably be rejected
unless inspected for misc. diseases etc. Lots of catalogs state, unable to
ship to California. Those that are able to comply probably have some sort
of inspector there at the state of departure.
