Re: starting seeds -Reply

For people into growing Primulas - join the American Primrose Soc. They
have a wonderful seed exchange- Primulas, companion plants, and other exotic
perennials. This year was by far the best ever(in my estimation). Thompson
& Morgan has a good selection of Primula seed. Most Primula are easy to
germinate under cool moist surface-sown conditions. I surface sow and cover
the flat with newspaper to prevent drying out and let in some light - you
could use glass but then you must be sure to keep out of direct sun or
you'll cook the seeds etc.
Cheers,
