<<<While I was looking through my catalogs for Papaver rhoeas, I came
across a
picture and description of P. bracteatum. This grows 4-5 feet on sturdy
plants that have flowers 8 inches across. The plants don't need to be
staked. Hardy zones 5-9. Sounds wonderful. Anyone had any experience
with
these?>>>
Hi, Ginny:
I have it and it's awesome. I got the seed from T&M and had hundreds of
the plants, gave most away. I use very little red in my garden, but when I
do I want it to be spectacular. Papaver bracteatum is nothing short of
spectacular.
