I agree with an earlier assessment: it sounds like a brugmansia. It is
offered in various pastel colors from Logee's Greenhouse and also White
Flower Farm. One of my favorite patio plants and it never fails to impress
visitors to the garden. The scent is strongest at night and one bloom will
easily perfume a room (never lasts more than overnight). Easy, easy to
grow and overwinter inside here in Zone 6.
One country club here in Kentucky lines their walkways with it. Evening
functions won't ever be the same! Imagine an early evening outdoor
wedding...
