Re: Gardening software
I have just received the new edition of 'Geoff Hamilton's 3-D Garden
Designer', and can highly recomend it. I had previously used the 2-D
version, and liked it too, but in the new version, all of my old 'gripes'
have been solved.
The best features (next to the easy designing and over 2000 plants) are
that you can add your own plants to the database, and that it makes a
monthly chore list for all of the plants in the plan. Geoff may not be so
well known to the Americans on this list, but for those of us able to
receive BBC television on the continent, he kept us glued to the TV during
his presentation of Gardner's World until his death a year or so ago. I can
also recommend his gardening books for those interested in cottage- and
English gardens.
Here is the web site of the software manufacturer:

They ship Internet orders to continental Europe, maybe also to the US.
Sorry, don't know if there is a Mac version.
